The Long-tail Boat at a glance
The long-tail is the boat of the Andaman coast: a narrow wooden hull and an engine on a long shaft that gives the boat its name. This one is finished for comfort, with a sun deck, a JBL speaker, an outdoor shower and a toilet on board, so a small group can spend a full day at sea in a traditional boat.
A captain and a butler look after the group. Soft drinks with ice, infused water, local snacks and a picnic on the beach are part of the price, along with life vests and towels.
